Wisdom Tooth Removal in Faisalabad

Wisdom teeth come through at the back of the mouth, often without enough room. Not every wisdom tooth needs to come out, so we check yours first and explain what makes sense.

Dr. Muhammad UmarBDS, Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Implantology

Your wisdom tooth may need attention if you have

  • Pain at the back of your mouth
  • Swollen or sore gums around the tooth
  • Food getting trapped around the tooth
  • Decay in the wisdom tooth or the tooth next to it

What happens

  1. We examine the area and take an X-ray to see the position of the tooth.
  2. We explain whether it should come out and what is involved.
  3. The area is numbed and the tooth is removed.
  4. We give you aftercare advice for healing at home.

Afterwards

  • Follow the aftercare advice we give you.
  • Eat soft food while the area heals.
  • Avoid smoking and rinsing hard while the area heals.
  • Contact us if pain or swelling gets worse.

Common questions

Do all wisdom teeth need to be removed?

No. A wisdom tooth that is healthy and not causing problems may be left alone. We will advise you after your exam.

What if my wisdom tooth is growing sideways?

We check the position of the tooth with an X-ray and explain your options, including referral if you need it.
